A choir, chorale, or chorus is a musical ensemble of singers. Choral music, in turn, is the music written specifically for such an ensemble to perform.

General News

The choir starts back again after the summer break on Thursday, 10th September.

For our next concert on March 27th ( probably to be held at our regular venue Trinity Henleaze URC ) we will be rehearsing a major new work – Petite Messe Solonnelle – by Rossini - together with popular songs by John Rutter. After half term we will be practicing for our Christmas events. In February we will also be performing with other choirs at the Colston Hall.

The term will formally end on Thursday 10th December. However, we have again been invited to sing at Henleaze Street Fair on Thursday 10th December, at Henbury Village Hall on Saturday 12th, and at Bristol Zoo on Monday 21st (some of the dates are still to be definitely agreed, but please pencil them in your diaries. They are all good fun.)

I think we can all look forward to another very good year ahead.
